Kirkland · Outdoor kitchen and cover · Sample project for this demo
The Kirkland outdoor kitchen

The problem
A cook who grilled on a deck in the rain, a family that ate inside from September, and a lake view nobody used after dark.
The decisions
- A covered kitchen against the house wall, so gas and power runs stay short
- Counter landing space on both sides of the cooktop
- Warm downlights in the cover and low lights along the steps
- Paving that drains away from the cook and the house
The result
Dinner outside from April to October, and under cover on most of the evenings in between.

Thinking about the yard before next summer?
Start with one conversation. A designer walks the property with you for about an hour. You leave knowing what is possible, roughly what it costs, and how long design and build take.
