Landscape lighting on the Eastside
Paths, steps, trees and terraces lit warm and low, on timers, so the yard works after dark.

How we approach it
From October to March it is dark by the time most people get home. Good lighting makes the yard usable and safe in those months, and shows off the planting without lighting up the neighbours. We design it as a plan, then aim every fixture at night with you.
This is for you if
- You never see your garden on a weekday in winter
- The steps to the door are hard to see
- You want the trees lit, not the neighbours' bedroom
- Old fixtures have failed one by one
What you get in writing
- A lighting plan with each fixture, beam and purpose
- Warm, low-glare fixtures chosen for wet weather
- Transformer, timer or app control specified
- A night-time aiming visit after installation
- A note of each fixture model for later replacement
What moves the price
- Number of fixtures and zones
- Fixture material: brass and copper last longest
- Trenching distance and hard surfaces to cross
- Controls: timer, photocell or app
- Tree mounting heights
- Typical investment (sample)
- Sample range set by the owner, for example from $9,000 for paths and steps to $40,000+ for a whole property
- Typical timeline (example)
- Example: 1 to 2 weeks of design, 1 to 2 weeks of install

Questions about landscape lighting
Can you add lighting to a garden you did not build?
Yes. We walk the property at dusk, draw a plan around what is already there, and run cable with as little disturbance to the beds as we can.
Is it expensive to run?
Modern LED fixtures draw little power. The plan lists the total load, and a timer keeps them off when nobody is outside.

Thinking about the yard before next summer?
Start with one conversation. A designer walks the property with you for about an hour. You leave knowing what is possible, roughly what it costs, and how long design and build take.
